The purpose of the consultation is not to determine all the answers to your
current crisis. What we can do is review the benefits that bankruptcy court

be available to you, depending on how your financial information matches the
requirements of the law. Most important, it is a time for us to meet and speak
with each other and to decide if the “fit” is right for us to work
together to help you reach your goal of getting a clean slate for your financial
future. To accomplish this important project, it is important that we both feel

After discussing your goals and needs, we can begin to work on a plan for discharge
under Chapter 7, or a payment plan under Chapter 13. After the consultation,
I will give you an extensive questionnaire that is designed to collect very
detailed information necessary to determine whether you will qualify for a discharge
from the bankruptcy court. It will also identify other possible issues that
will be of interest to the bankruptcy trustee, and possible the bankruptcy court.
Depending on how quickly you gather this information, and return it to my office
with the appropriate fee, we can get your petition filed and begin the process
